Tahoe Area Regional Transit (TART) serves the North Shore area of Lake Tahoe, with three routes encompassing; Tahoma, Tahoe City, Carnelian Bay, Tahoe Vista, Kings Beach, Crystal Bay, Incline Village, Squaw Valley and Truckee.The bus routes also connect to Ski Resort shuttles. Schedules for TART and Truckee Transit run year round. During the winter ski resort shuttles are an excellent way to discover your Tahoe area ski resort options. The peak summer months bring heavy traffic around the Lake, making public transportation a very viable option. If you have friends or family in town, be sure to take them on a Trolley tour, its an excellent way to see the area.
